A few days go I was listening to a podcast with Naval Ravikant about How to Get Rich. It was the most valuable thing I'd heard all week. I've had mixed feelings about social media. I quit for 30 days and think Cal Newport's philosophy of digital minimalism is spot on.

Naval apparently composes tweet storms which can be transformed into two-hour podcasts. Some of these are up to 100 tweets. What if we didn't tweet 140 characters at a time every single day?

What if we protected the currency of our attention, spent more thinking, less time tweeting, and only tweeted in storms? Maybe we'd make less noise and more sense.
