Trends and Tactics Have Expiration Dates

It's tempting to build the startup or start the project that's trendy at the moment. But every trend has an expiration date. Every tactic has a point of diminishing returns. It's better and more rewarding to create what you want to exist in the world, whatever it is that gives you a reason to get up in the morning, whatever you're ok with creating for an audience of one.
