Write a Book. Launch a YouTube Channel. Build a Six Figure Coaching Practice. Start a Freelance Career

Without feeling like it's constant seesaw to choose to prioritize your creative projects over family, work, friends, other hobbies.

Even if you've signed up for dozens of online courses, bought dozens of books and never finished or worse started any of them.

Even if you don't think you have a big enough audience or don't feel ready because there's so much to learn

Year after year, I've seen people enroll in online courses they never finish, buy books they never read and start projects they don't continue. After teaching and taking multiple online classes myself, I've realized that your struggle to finish is not your fault.

Most online courses aren't easy to finish because:

  1. They take too long;
  2. There’s no accountability; and
  3. You learn tactics, but don't develop the foundational skills that make those tactics effective.

That's why we've created a new course format that makes it easy to finish what you start, make progress on what matters, and build the foundations for success with your creative endeavors.

How a One Foundational Skill can Transform Your Career

I blogged, tweeted, and read books about growing my audience for five years. But in 2013, I wasn't anywhere near where I wanted to be. At the time, my friend Julien Smith had one of the most popular blogs on the internet, had published two best-selling books, and worked on The Domino Project with Seth Godin.

When I interviewed him on the Unmistakable Creative Podcast, he attributed his success to a simple habit: Writing 1000 words a day. I stopped reading books about online marketing. Instead, I focused on developing ONE HABIT. 6 months later; I had self-published two books, one of which became a Wall Street Journal Best-seller and eventually led to a six-figure book contract with Penguin.

Unlike trends and tactics, foundational skills don't have an expiration date. You'll be able to apply them to anything you work on for the rest of your life.

Sprint projects will help you reduce the load so you can enjoy the satisfaction of seeing regular progress. How you feel about a project is vital to its success, especially for personal endeavors, where you may not have a team or a boss to help you stay on task. Progress provides momentum. Momentum helps you cultivate your patience.

What are sprints?

Sprints are short intensive learning modules that focus on a specific topic that is foundational to creative success. Topics are based on Unmistakable Creative's library of over 1000 interviews and 100's of other creative assets developed over the last 10 years.

We curated this content into three areas that depend on the stage in your creative evolution: mindset, execution, and strategy. We're excited to share this content with you because it has made such a difference in our own lives.

What's the format for the Sprint?

The Sprint is a live, online, interactive workshop divided into three sessions that take place over a weekend. Each session starts with a review of key ideas and concepts that are the foundation for the topic. Then you'll work with other participants in breakouts to do exercises, followed by a debrief and Q&A. To make the most of your time, you'll have some light homework to do before the Saturday and Sunday sessions.

Who are the Sprints for?

Sprints are for people serious about accomplishing their goals in 2022 but don't have a lot of time. The short burst of stage-setting and deep dive into key topic areas will help you focus and stay on track with becoming a successful creative.

When are the Sprints

We are hosting sprints every month in 2022. Right now, we are running sprints from January-June. Based on how these go, we'll set up the schedule for the rest of the year.

Why should I register and pay more for the Sprint when I can do this on my own?

Our experience has shown that the live workshop format produces more value and better results for people than DIY courses. Here are a few reasons why it's a good idea to do a sprint:

You'll interact with other like-minded people on the same journey in a safe environment.

You can get answers to your most pressing questions and reduce any obstacles you are creating for yourself in setting your goals.

You'll be more accountable to your goals as others expect you to show up.

However, if you are a committed DIY-er, you can go directly to our library of resources, try out our personal knowledge management course  or tune into the podcast – this episode about creativity and confidence is along the lines of our upcoming Sprint.

Will there be recordings available if I can't attend?

Recordings of each session will be available; however, this is a cohort-based course. We highly recommend you attend each session if you can, as you will get a lot more out of the Sprint.

What if I register and then change my mind?

If you register for the Sprint and then realize before it starts that you aren't ready to achieve your goals, we'll refund you 85% of the purchase price. After the Sprint starts, consider yourself committed, and no refunds will be given. Email your refund request to [email protected]
