Nobody Has Ever Asked Me That Before

If there's one thing I've learned about interviewing, it's to avoid questions that successful people have been asked a million times. The point of an interview is not to review someone's resume. It's to get to the parts of their story they haven't told, that we couldn't gather from reading their books or their resumes. When somebody says "nobody has ever asked me that before," I know I'm about to learn something interesting.
